Southern Derbyshire Voluntary Sector Mental Health Forum (SDVSMHF)
Southern Derbyshire Voluntary Sector Mental Health Forum existed as an unincorporated organisation and Registered Charity (Number 1099282) from 2001 to 2015.

SDVSMHF worked to support the mental health voluntary sector across Southern Derbyshire and Derby City. In 2014 a decision was taken, after consultation with members, funders and other stakeholders, to become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).  It was agreed to name this organisation Derbyshire Mental Health Forum CIO.

During 2015 – 2016 SDVSMHF and Derbyshire Mental Health Forum existed side-by side in a legal sense for the first five months of the financial year.  There was a formal handover of all the responsibilities of the old charity to the new Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Derbyshire Mental Health Forum) on 31st August 2015.  On this date, accounts, staff contracts, pensions, taxation responsibilities, insurances and much more all passed over to the new company, which had been operating in shadow form for several months.

The final accounts of SDVSMHF were audited and signed off by SDVSMHF trustees on 19th August 2016 and the old charity has now been removed from the Charitable Register.

This means that you can no longer view the activities of the old charity on the Charity Commission website.
